DIY Spring Towel

I have a lot of other projects I've made that I'll try and get around to posting the details of soon, but I just made this towel tonight!  I can't wait for Spring, and I've been thinking about ways to decorate my new apartment.  I got out my random craft supplies, found some colorful buttons, and remembered the plain white towels my mommy had given me for Christmas, but it all together, and VIOLA!  A cute, inexpensive, decorative towel that you made yourself!

The supplies you need for this project are:

A hand towel

Buttons

Thread

Scissors

Needle

Arrange the buttons in a flower pattern (I suggest laying them out first so you can play around with them and find a design you like).  I started by sewing the button for the center of the flower in place first, then sewing the 'petals' around it.

Repeat for as many flowers as you'd like to see on your towel, and for as many towels as you like!  I plan on making another one with similar colors to match this one.
