Easy DIY Easter Cross

I was looking around my apartment, and I realized I had a lot of eggs, and chicks, and bunnies, and flowers, but nothing to celebrate the real meaning of Easter.  So I grabbed:
cardboard
scissors
yarn
hot glue
and got to work!
1.) Begin by tracing the shape of a cross, to the size you want, on a piece of cardboard.
2.) Cut out the cross
3.) Begin wrapping the cross in yarn.  Start with the edges of the cross, and don't worry about the center yet.  Use hot glue or tape to tack the edges of the yarn down in the back of the cross.
4.) Once the edges are done, you can begin worrying about the center, which is a little trickier.  Take a look at the zoomed in picture of the center to get an idea.  Go slowly, wrapping from one corner to the other, each time making sure the yarn lies next to the last strip you wrapped.  The lines of yard from the edges you already wrapped will help the center wraps stay in place.  Get about 1/4 of the center covered, then switch and wrap the other quarters.
